1. Katie and I went to the park on Wednesday. We haven't done that very much because there aren't any nice hang out parks in walking distance from our house. It was so fun to lay her on the blanket and watch her look at the trees and hear the birds and discover new things. Very fun!
2. 2 holidays in one week! Who doesn't love that? Tuesday was Portugal Day and Friday was St Antonio Day who is Lisbon's patron saint so there are big parties and a parade. While having an almost six month old excluded us from joining the festivities that didn't even start until after 9 or 10 pm it was nice to have the day off and enjoy a little family time.
3. EuroCup action! Portugal is playing in the EuroCup right now (that's for soccer in case you didn't know) and game 2 was on Wednesday. Some friends came over and we watched them beat the Czech Republic. It was a good game!
4. Good conversations. I've gotten to talk to my parents a lot lately and this week I also got to talk to Sarah and Laura and one of my sisters for a while. That's always great!
5. Mobile Katie! It has been SO fun to watch Katie learn to scoot and roll around. She's getting around!
