A Birthday Kiss!

I've been meaning to post these pictures since the little man's birthday...

We have made a tradition of going to our local zoo for each of the kids' first birthdays. 

There is a fun dolphin and sea lion show and part way through they actually had the sea lions go through the crowd and give people a kiss. 

(I don't think this would happen in America, do you?)

Since we were there on the first birthday of our first child we HAD to buy the picture.  So cute, right? 

We happened to have a year pass to the zoo when Little Sister turned one so we went down and saw the dolphin show that day too. 

We, of course, bought the picture that day too.  So cute, right?

For Christmas we used some gift money and got a pass to the zoo for this year too so, of course, we went to the zoo for the day to celebrate the little man's first birthday.  We made sure to get there in time for the dolphin show only to find out that they no longer do the seal-in-the-crowd-kiss-all-the-people part of the show. 

Bummer.  My 3rd baby needs his sea lion picture too, right?!

Not to worry!  After the show you can line up to have your picture taken with one of the other sea lions.  Perfect!

So cute, right? 

Ha!  This thing was HUGE!  And he was laying right on top of me!  I got slimy all over on my arm. 

There's the little man looking at this big old whiskery thing thinking, "What in the world is this???" and then there are the girls looking very fussy but in reality they just couldn't look up because the sun was RIGHT in our eyes. 

Oh my. 

Not exactly what I imagined but we had to buy it anyway, right?  :-)

 

Bubbles!

We had an activity in the park yesterday so we busted out some good old bubbles.  They always draw a crowd!  This little guy was so excited and really wanted to catch some!

We finally, FINALLY have sunshine and warmer weather in the forecast.  Hooray!  Hopefully we will have lots of sunny park days in the near future!

Catching up - Little Sister!

This little lady is just bubbling with personality!  She loves to dance, sing and play anything with princesses and pink!  She's starting to write her name which is very exciting and she loves preschool and playing with all of the kids. 

Catching Up - Big Sister!

This sweet girl is growing so much! 

She loves to learn new things and explain everything to all of us.  "You see, it's like this..." 

She's loves to help with her little brother and play with her little sister (well, most of the time!).  Amazingly enough she has already lost FIVE teeth!  I think this is seriously advanced for 5 years old!  :-) 

Catching Up... Here's Buddy Boy!

This cute little guy is doing great! 

He has spent most of the winter sick in one way or another.  From alergies to bronchiolitis to regular old colds he is ready for warmer weather and SPRING to finally come! 

He loves to throw a ball (he's got a pretty good arm too!) and mess up anything that his sisters are trying to play with or his mommy is trying to clean up.  His daddy's bookshelves are a favorite place to play too!
